Overproduction#

This functionality allows you to define a permissible percentage deviation from the planned production quantities.

Open the Production setup via the search. On the General FastTab, activate the function Check Over Production.

On the item card, you have the option of specifying the desired percentage for overproduction in the Over Production % field on the Replenishment FastTab.

If the function is activated in the Production Setup, the system checks the Over Production % field on the item card to see whether the completed quantity is greater than the maximum overproduction quantity. If this is the case, an error message appears.

Example
With a production order quantity of 1000 pieces, the maximum overproduction is 20% = 200 pieces. The tolerance quantity is therefore 1000 to 1200 pieces, and an error message appears from 1201.
