Optimized Absence Management#
In the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central1 process for recording machine downtimes due to maintenance, repairs or similar measures, you first register the downtimes. You then transfer the registered absences as absenteeism items and subsequently update the calendar accordingly.
In KUMAVISION factory365, this process has been optimized so that the individual steps can be executed directly when the function is called. To maintain the absence times in KUMAVISION factory365, proceed as follows:
Call up the Registered Absences via the search.
About Reg.Abs. (from Machine Ctr.) or Reg.Abs. (from Work Ctr.) in the ribbon, you can record the absence times for a maschine center or work center using the table.
The entry screen opens, where you can enter the absences using the table below.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Starting/Ending Time | Enter the start/end time of the absence time |
Starting/Ending Date | Enter the start/end date of the absence time Note The Ending Date field must be filled in, as the Registered Absences are used to calculate the resource calendar. If the absence is extended, you can change the end date later. |
Capacity | Enter the capacity that cannot be used during the downtime. For example, if there are 3 production lines, there will not necessarily be downtime on all lines. |
Description | Enter a brief description for the cause of the absenteeism |
Overwrite | If this field is activated, the items for the respective time in this workstation group will be overwritten. |
Implement | If this switch is activated, the absences are transferred as absence entries. |
Update calendar | If this switch is activated, the calendar is updated automatically. |
Confirm your entry with "OK". If the "Apply" and "Update calendar" fields have been activated, the registered absences are automatically adopted as absence items and the calendar is updated accordingly.
