Check shortage prior to release#

The feature Check shortage prior to release in KUMAVISION base (BOOSTER) adds a missing parts list to production orders. Called a shortage list, it contains all components that aren’t available at present.

If you use the flexible reservation system in KUMAVISION factory365 and the Enable Date Conflicts toggle in the Company Information turned on, it can happen that reserved components for a production order may arrive late. However, the system still regards these components as available, so they do not appear on the shortage list.

Instead, reserved but delayed components of the production order are shown in the Component – Item FactBox in the production order components as Reserved from stock. This allows you to quickly identify reserved components that are critical in terms of timing.

Additionally, a notification appears in the production order indicating that there are date conflicts for this production order. This message points out that certain components may not be available in time.
